The NPP Parliamentary candidate for Tarkwa Nsuaem, Hon George Mireku Duker and party leaders on Sunday, November 8, 2020 joined the residents in New Atuabo Electoral Area, inaugurates and launched a volunteer group called "Friends of Mireku Duker".
The group was successfully inaugurated and attended by hundreds of young and old people and NPP sympathizers.
The volunteer group aimed at engaging in a massive door to door campaign in canvassing for a resounding victory for the President Nana Akufo Addo and Hon George Mireku Duker.
In his Inaugural speech, Hon. Mireku Duker,he recounted some of the development projects undergone by the New Patriotic Party government in the Area and threw more lights on the achievements of the NPP administration in the past three and half years.
He also took the opportunity to educate and convince the electorates on the need to vote massively for both his Excellency Nana Akufo Addo as President and Hon George Mireku Duker as member of parliament respectively.
He tasked the newly launched volunteer group (FRIENDS OF MIREKU) for their unprecedented support in making the NPP administration proud and acknowledging the party’s great significance.
