The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal Assembly, Hon. Benjamin Kessie and Member of Parliament for Tarkwa, Hon. George Mireku Duker on Saturday May 30, inspected the Dompim Astroturf project for official commissioning in days ahead.
The Dompim Astroturf project which was lobbied for by Hon. George Mireku Duker has been built to create a conducive environment for the training and development of sporting talent in Wassaman.
The Dompim park has host School leagues and served the needs of football clubs such as Wassaman United and Medeama since its construction on August 28, 2018.
Two years down the lane, the project is completed.
The people of Wassaman thanks H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo Akufo-Addo, The GNPC Foundation led by the dynamic Hon. Dominic Eduah, Hon. George Mireku Duker and Hon. Benjamin Kessie as the facility is about to be operationalized.
The park is also provided with inner perimeter fencing, reserve player seats and mechanised boreholes for grass maintenance.
