Goldfields Ghana Limited, has demonstrates its commitment to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic by donating some relief items to Tarkwa Municipal Assembly.
The donation forms part of the company’s comprehensive programme on COVID-19 prevention to complement the government’s efforts at containing the virus and providing protection for frontline workers, especially those in the health sector.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Assembly was MCE for Tarkwa-Nsuaem, Hon. Benjamin Kessie.
In his address to the media, the MCE
indicated that, he met Authorities of
Goldfields Ghana Limited to seek their
support against the fight of the deadly
pandemic and he is very enthused Goldfields delivered in less than 48 hours.
Hon. Benjamin Kessie thanked Goldfields
Ghana Limited for their swift response and
assured them that, the items will be put to
good use in safeguarding the good people of
Tarkwa-Nsuaem.

He used the medium to further reiterate that, Tarkwa-Nsuaem and by extension WesternR is becoming the new epicenter of the virusa humbly urging all and sundry to
adhere to the precautionary measures.
