Residents of Tamso and Nsuta-Junction have expressed worry about the bad nature of the road in the area.
They lamented that the road have been an anomaly and a source of complaints for years. But recently, they’ve become the center of a mini-crisis after the MCE for Tarkwa, Hon. Benjamin Kessie and Anlogold Ashanti began to tear up the asphalt in the neighborhoods and turn the streets back into dirt roads, much like what existed in the frontier days.
The residents in an interview with the TarkwaInsider on Tuesday, expressed frustration over the continual neglect of the area by the Assembly.
They lamented that the bad nature of the roads had brought untold hardship on them and they can't withstand the dust and even the Mud when it rains.
According to our checks, the contractor will resume work on Wednesday June 3.
