The member of Parliament for Tarkwa-Nsuaem, Hon. George Mireku Duker on Monday cuts sod for the construction of Tarkwa town roads.
The project, totalling 40 kilometres, starts from the Traditional council to Nsuta barrier and would be completed within 24 months.
The project is being constructed by the Cantrol construction.
At the groundbreaking ceremony at Brenuakyim, The member of Parliament, Hon.George Mireku Duker said Kingsport construction had begun constructing Esuoso - Benson road and outlines some of his achievement within the last 3 years as MP.
Mr Derrick Obeng, the Urban Road engineer, on his part, mention communities that will benefit from the 40 kilometres town roads.
Communities include senyakrom, Kwamenakrom, Jerusalem,tamso and Cyanide
Mr Derrick Obeng assured the member of Parliament and Nananom determination to supervise the construction works to ensure value for money.
Nana Kweku Twum I, Brenuakyim chief, expressed appreciation to Hon. George Mireku Duker for the construction of the brenuakyim road.
The residents of the area expressed their profound gratitude to the MP.
The small ceremony which took place On Monday, August 24, 2020, brought Nananom, Urban road Engineer and Staunch party supporters.
