A WhatsApp group chat went viral on social media on Sunday, in which campaign team members belonging to Independent candidate, madam Joy Joycelyn Andoh discussed how they will pay the loans to those who applied.
Prior to December 7 Polls, Madam Joy, made promised to provide loans to small businesses with no interest, flexible overhead requirements, and no collateral which has lead 50 percent of electorates in the constituency applying for the loan but to when the loan will come for borrowers to run their Bussiness has been the talk of town.
A member of the campaign team says
"Right now what we are doing is we are
managing the expecting, and successfully
they have come to accept that even they
get 100 GH, they are Okay..."
"They Will tell you, even if we get 50 GH, all
we want is the meney to come"
"To confirm that fact that she never failed
any promise she has ever made"
"We have been going around and going to
local radio and Educate the peopte, we have
the numbers, grounds are very fertile for us
but people have very high expectations for
this Loan, we cant runaway from it."
Another leaked chat says, "Hmmmm
This loan issue dey swallow them.
Its their main motive for Honsurable Joy
and we have to get it Out of their mind"
After these screenshots went viral, people who intend to vote her because of the loan have recind their decision to vote against her in upcoming December 7 elections.
