COVID-19 : 856 PATIENTS DISCHARGED IN WESTERN REGION.


Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) represents a significant global medical issue, with a growing number of cumulative confirmed cases. However, 856  COVID-19 patients have overcome the disease and are gradually returning to work and social life.,

According to data released by the Western Regional Health Directorate, eight hundred and fifty-six (856) people have been discharged from the various isolation or treatment centers in the Western Region.

Per a report from the Directorate, these persons have since their first positive test for the novel coronavirus had showed
no symptoms or illness even after the expiration of a 14 day period from the date the test was taken.

These persons according to the Regional Health Directorate poses no risk to other individuals, as they cannot pass on the
virus to others.
